Mexican Corn Products has been making authentic tortilla chips inspired by traditional tortillas, a staple of Mexican cuisine for generations. Our dedication to authenticity is realized through a family recipe and makes our Tortilla Chips the best on the market.

The Godinez-Luna Family’s Founders come from Tamazula, a pre-Hispanic town nestled in the south of Jalisco state, Mexico. Often considered the birthplace of many things Mexican, the region is famous for its folklore, music, tequila and mouth-watering Mexican cuisine!

One of our ancestors, Grandma Carmen, or “Doña Carmen,” came to master the Mexican culinary arts in this ancient city. From her kitchen in “Rancho Los Cantores,” she prepared traditional dishes from past generations and inspired the next generation to continue with tradition, focusing on using natural ingredients.

After immigrating to Canada in 2001, the Godinez-Luna Family saw authentic Mexican Tortilla Corn Chips needed in their new home. And since 2004, we proudly opened Mexican Corn Products Inc. (MCP) and began producing original traditional tortilla chips in Ottawa, Canada. Our mission was to craft the finest artisanal tortilla chips inspired by our family recipes and share them with the world. Therefore, we wholesale, private label and distribute to Retailers and Restaurants.

Over the years, we have received overwhelming love and support for our tortilla chips; our family decided to develop our private label brand, Los Cantores. Los Cantores Tortilla Chips have launched six different flavours in Canada and the USA, using only the best quality selected ingredients, no artificial flavours and no preservatives while ensuring their tortilla chips are Gluten-Free and Certified Kosher. They are now sold throughout Ottawa and available at big box retail, online and local restaurants.

It is an honour and privilege to bring the taste of authentic Mexican flavours in these tortilla chips from our family to yours while garnering local support.
